The final results is that depression most of the time DOES exist especially to people who are facing challenges in their life which they are not able to handle. But sometimes it DOESN'T exist because some people merely use it as a form of attension seeking, that they simply want the pity and attraction of people.

Got my idea for a performance art piece approved too by the way... =3 Anyways, the 3h paper we are suppose to sit for on the 18th has been given out. The themes for the paper is surprisingly literal! Somehow, doing this (not blogging abourrit) feels uneasy for me. Mainly because, I haven't opened up my emotions yet, nor did I let out any of my frustrations to break free from is pissing and annoying emotion I am forced to bear with.
It is said that you are to avoid feeling moody, emo, angry, pissed off, cry or any sorts of unnecessary emotions while you fast. Because it will simply diverge you from the main point of fasting and will lead you to certain bad situations, where your fast may be broken.
Nevertheless, I can't help feeling this way. >.<
Even though I felt I was in a good mood this morning, it was stomped upon, kicked thirty-seven times, and flushed down the drain to suicidal.

Haiz... sleep hase never been so evil to me. Lately, it has only caused me troubles. >.<
At first it was that whole "oh no! he's haunting me in my sleeps again" ordeal, which I'm glad that is over - for now...
Recall during SSC that I got cramps on my right thigh at night because I was shivering all night. After which, I was partially paralyzed and I couldn't walk properly. But after a while, I felt better. Until last week's PE lesson, where, after that tiresome period, my leg started aching again. And during my long walk back home from the bus-stop, my right thigh cramped up again at the cost of 'cracking' my right knee... >.< Grr...
Still hurts up till now. That's why I'm wearing a knee guard, which is really annoying and really constricting you of your movements...
Haiz... then today. Slept after school in the PSB room. Overshot my sleep till 6.30. Supposed to be home by then to break fast which my family... >.< And the sad thing is that no one woke me up...

Last term, I thought it was okay and fine with all the sleep in class and all that stuff. But now, during fasting month, where your energy span will decline in the afternoon, you'll tend to be more tired than usual.
And if you think I was THAT tired last term, how do you think I feel now?
Note that now I am forced to stay awake in class by the teachers. Because apparently, I was caught numerous times sleeping in class... >.<
And being me, I have been trying my best to stay awake and stuff. But most of the time, I just end up stoning there for periods with my eyes nearly shut and with my ears completely blocked.
Might as well sleep. But nooo... some people me threaten me otherwise...
I'm sick of this.
Because of my lack of sleep in class, the first thing after I reach home is to land myself on my bed and in a few seconds I will fall asleep. Too tired. Too lethargic...
This in turn causes more problem, such as, incomplete homework, inability to study, inability to blog etc.

I miss those times during kindergarten when we have nap time. Nap time seemed so valueless at that time, but now, nap time is the most precious thing to me. And I miss it lots.

Anyways, a short review of my Sunday. Woke up super late for my madrasah. Rushed there, to find out that they threw away curriculum time this week and gave a 3 hour lecture on fasting. =D Which makes sense, considering we are LIVING with the fasting month right now.
Learnt quite a few new things there. Apparently, you'll brake your fast if you masturbate as well. =.=" Haha...
Then reached home. Slept some more. Then went to Joo Chiat Complex with my family to buy new clothes. Lol. The theme changed from green to black, just because the nice greens are already sold out.
Yup, sold out on the first week of fasting month... *rollseyes* ....
Bought myself new shoes as well. Make it budget shoes. But like my mom said, "Never mind budget...once worn out, can buy new one.." ^^ Heehee...
My baju kurung will be bought next week after the next shipment arrives. ^^ It 's really nice and comfortable as well. Can't wait to wear it.... $110 of glamour... =0 It seriously looks like a bride and groom outfit... xP
Anyways, have yet to check out Geylang Bazaar. Should have some interesting stuff there as well. And I want to buy a new wallet there too... Hehe... But bazaar should only be visited at night, where it is cool and when you can EAT and DRINK. xD

Oh ya! I remember last year that Maran actually allow the Muslim boys to stay in class during recess. Then during Chia's rounds, he was chasing out all the non-Muslim staying in class.. =P Haha...
Then E. Maths. Did some Anglican High Paper. And it's surprisingly SUPER EASY to do... =0 I'd be happy if these kind of papers come out during the SA... heh..
History. Did some SBQ questions from TKSS. Got L1 for inference question and L2 for comparison. >.< OMG! I NEED to BUCK UP on my history... L1 for inference is considered BAD!!! L1 means that you can't even understand the source to extract inferences based on the sources...

but it was okay because when i was done, it was almost time to break fast! ^^

I greatly welcome the month of رمضان. =D The glorious month is here. This is the month where most good things occur, and with exams around the corner... hey! =D

The most prominent event of this month is the fasting (sawm) practiced by most observant Muslims. Every day during the month of Ramadan, Muslims around the world get up before dawn to eat and perform their fajr prayer. They break their fast when the fourth prayer of the day, Maghrib (sunset), is due and can eat and drink until dawn the next day.
During Ramadan, Muslims are also expected to put more effort into following the teachings of Islam as well as refraining from anger, envy, greed, lust, sarcastic retorts, backbiting, and gossip. They are encouraged to read the Qur'an. Obscene and irreligious sights and sounds are to be avoided. Purity of both thought and action is important. The fast is intended to be an exacting act of deep personal worship in which Muslims seek a raised level of closeness to God. The act of fasting is said to redirect the heart away from worldly activities, its purpose being to cleanse the inner soul and free it from harm. Properly observing the fast is supposed to induce a comfortable feeling of peace and calm. It also allows Muslims to practice self-discipline, sacrifice, as well as sympathy for those who are less fortunate, intending to make Muslims more generous and charitable.
Conditions of Fasting
Throughout the duration of the fast itself, Muslims will abstain from certain provisions that God has otherwise allowed; namely eating, drinking, and sexual intercourse. This is in addition to the standard obligation already observed by Muslims of avoiding that which is not permissible under Qur'anic or Shari'ah law (e.g. ignorant and indecent speech, arguing and fighting, and lustful thoughts). Without observing this standard obligation, Sawm is rendered useless, and is seen simply as an act of starvation.
If one is sick, nursing or travelling, one is considered exempt from fasting. According to the Qur'an, for all other cases, not fasting is only permitted when the act is potentially dangerous to one's health - for example; those elderly who are too weak to fast for extended periods of time, diabetics, nursing, and pregnant women.
Observing the fast is not permitted for menstruating women. However, when a woman's period has ceased, she must bathe and continue fasting. Any fasts broken/missed due to menstruation must be made up whenever she can before the next month of Ramadan. Women must fast at times when not menstruating, as God indicates that all religious duties are ordained for both men and women.
Breaking oaths and the consequences
During Ramadan, one who fasts and breaks the oath out of forgetfulness must nevertheless continue, since the fast will remain valid. If, however, one intentionally breaks the fast, by eating, drinking, smoking or having sex, then they must continue for the rest of the day, add one day onto their fast and fulfill a set "penalty" (kaffarra). These exist in three forms, of which the person chooses one:
* Fasting for an extra 60 consecutive days, if he/she couldn't then; * Feeding and clothing 60 people in need, if he/she couldn't then; * Freeing a slave.
Penalties for voluntary fasts at other times of the year, are, however, more lenient; if an oath is given, and circumstances dictate that it be broken (or the one giving the oath deliberately breaks it), one needs to fast for three days consecutively if they cannot initially find 10 poor people to feed and provide clothing for (both of which are commanded before the act of fasting as a form of repentance). The penalties are harsher during Ramadan because all mentally able Muslims are expected to have an increased awareness\consciousness of the fast at that time.
Benefits of fasting
Fasting inculcates a sense of fraternity and solidarity, as Muslims will feel and experience that which their needy and hungry brothers and sisters feel; however, even the poor, needy, and hungry may participate in the fast. Moreover, Ramadan is a month of giving charity and sharing meals to break the fast together, the latter offering more reward than if eating alone.
As briefly mentioned earlier, fasting can also be observed voluntarily (as part of the Greater Jihad ): Sawm is intended to teach believers patience and self-control in their personal conduct, to help control passions and temper, to provide time for meditation and to strengthen one's faith. Fasting also serves the purpose of cleansing the inner soul and freeing it of harm. Most importantly, the fast is also seen as a great sign of obedience by the believer to Allah. Faithful observance of the Sawm is believed to atone for personal faults and misdeeds and to help earn a place in paradise.
While fasting in the month of Ramadan is considered Fard (obligatory), Islam also prescribed certain days for non-obligatory, voluntary fasting, such as:
* each Monday and Thursday of a week * the 13th, 14th, and 15th day of each lunar month * six days in the month of Shawwal (the month following Ramadan) * the Day of Arafat (9th of Dhu al-Hijjah in the Islamic (Hijri) calendar) * the Day of Ashuraa (10th of Muharram in the Islamic (Hijri) calendar), with one more day of fasting before or after it

Then joined back Hasif + Farhan and went back home....
Standard fasting month ritual for me... School, reach home, sleep till it's time to eat again. =P Heh...
At night, went for Terawih (some extra prayers done during Ramadhan) at Masjid Mydin. To my shock, saw some Land CLTs there with their Mat Rape gang lepak-ing at the mosque and the nearby coffee shop. =.=" Oh wells... they didn't notice me, so I pretend nothing had happened.
But I have a feeling I'll see them again tmr if I go to the same mosque... =.-"

A few more weeks to finals. Pressure is already on.
It's a mistake to turn my holiday mood for just one day on Sunday. Made a lot on impact on me now. Was late on Monday. Now swamped with homework, excluding the holiday homework I have to complete and the intensive revision I have to do... =(
Gah! Busy busy....
Nothing much occured today though. Just lessons and stuff. Guess I used up most of my energy laughing and cracking jokes all morning that my attention span declined in the afternoon during AEP... =P
Speaking of AEP, can't believe we have to do a performance art piece despite the finals comming.. =(

Hmmm.. kay, Senior Spec Course.
Bottom line, Land CLTs own Sea CLTs. Big time.

Okay. First day. Woke up early. Did some last minute packing and when left for Kembangan Stn and waited for the rest. They reached Kembangan 6.45. So we all reached Yio Chu Kang at 7.40.
Joshua left his uniform in school. So he borrowed Jackson's one. ^^ Haha. Recalled that in Land Spec, it was Joshua's uniform which recieved Jackson's best cadet plaque. But now, it was Jackson's uniform to recieve Joshua's lanyard. =.="
Anyways, we reached there late. Got scolded at and stuff. Then were forced to march one round around the parade square before joining the rest. =.=" Quite stupid la. I mean, we're already late, and still got time for punishment... >.<
Everyone got split. I was in Platoon 1. Josh was in Platoon 2. Wei Yi in Platoon 3, Nawawi in Platoon 5 and Hasif in Platoon 6. =( But was okay la. Cuz got the VS Land with us. xD
Even more for Nawawi. He wanted to be BC, but we screamed too much during Sea Comp till he lost his voice. So he could no longer be the I/C... =P
Haha... Sorry BC-wannabe-but-cannot-be-because-he-got-a-sore-throat. xP
Anyways. Echo Company was under the Land CLTs. And Siara Company was under Sea CLTs. Not say the Sea CLTs damn fierce and strict la. Scream here, scream there. The Land CLTs, on the other hand, know a perfect balance of fun and strict. ^^
That's why I'm glad to be in Echo Company.
My PC is CLT Joshua. And my Section Comm. is CLT Simah. Got other CLTs with us. Damn funny la they all. ^^

Anyways, first day was just merely some admin stuff + lecture. The lectures damn boring. Was half asleep most of the time, until I decided to take down notes to keep myself pre-occupied. =.="
Got lectures on Words Of Command, Duties Of USM, Ethics & Decoreum, and Pace Stick Drills. Not say the 2nd lecture has nothing to do with me. And the list of duties of a USM goes on and on an on throughout the whole lecture... =P
Anyways, that night got ice-breakers. While the Siara Company was playing stupid games in the MPH, the Echo Company was having a sing-a-long session with teh CLTs. ^^ Damn enjoyable...until I lost my hype, and just sat there stoning... =.="
But most of the songs are new to me. And it is still buzzing in my head. =P Haha.. MUST teach the Part A + B these songs and cheers. And maybe to the next batch of PSLs too... xD

Then at night was when all those who failed had to take their retest. It was also the time when the potential BCs had a special drills session and their interviews. But for the rest: slack in the MPH. =.=" Stoned there for a few hours before bedtime.
But the parade before we sleep was damn fucked up la. Bloody Benson + Sea CLTs. Repeat the thing again and again, so sleeping time got delayed. >.<

AAR for the last day. Not say most of the complaints come from the Siara Company based on the Sea CLTs. =P They got complaints on some CLTs cutting some the cadets hair, which they are not allowed to. And I find it pitiful to have your hair in THAT condition... o.x

1) CLT Malia was using JinJian's name tag on her No.3 ^.^ 2) The other Wei Yi was also in Wei Yi's platoon. 3) Wei Yi told us that Aman has a $10 note folded into a heart-shape. Don't even know how it could be folded that way. 4) Saw plenty of ex-TPS ppl. Even the BC for Platoon 2 (Yusof B Ishak) was from my pri sch. =P 5) Kinda obvious, but everyone prefered Land CLTs to Sea CLTs. 6) Because of that, the Sea cadets in Echo Company is very thankful to be there. ^^ 7) Learnt plenty of songs. Made plenty of friends. Isn't that one good thing received from camps? 8) None of the Victorians was I/Cs except Kaymond. Dunno about Jun Cong though. =P 9) The ppl from KC are damn brats. =.=" Esp the one in my platoon... 10) Syirah (Land Spec Company Best) was in my platoon, and she failed her BC test. 11) Speaking of which, BCs had to take some stupid test to prove themselves. =.=" 12) The Course is CLT Rafeeq's last camp. He's was Platoon 1 Sect Comm 1, and have to go NS on Tues. He's a bloody joker la. xP

2nd Day of Sea Comp. Usual la. Except that I manage to wake up early. And met up with the rest at Kembangan Stn and went there together.
Can't remember much seriously...

Oh ya! The Part A and a Half (ie. VS Part A + B team) race screwed up badly, with TK almost overtaking them, which is a first for everyone.
TK won the overall champions again. And Bukit Batok won the overall champion (girls). Still can't help pitying TK for losing Part C Doubles to Choa Chu Kang at the last minute. What happen was TK was already in the lead, then Aman and his partner widened the gap a whole lot more. But somehow or rather, Choa Chu Kang managed to catch up and overtook them right before the finishing line. =/

Part C Doubles for VS. Got 4th. Suay. Riverside beat us to clinch the 3rd position. They got infringement for blocking us during our change-over, but it wasn't enough to make us 3rd. =/ Haiz.....

And guess what? It happens to fall on Hasif's Birthday. Damn. No birthday jacks, cuz apparently, we're not suppose to 'touch' anyhow when we fast. It's all about endurance they say... *shifty eyes* ...
Suay... Wanted to whack him really badly... xD Mwahahaha... Esp after what he had done to all of us... =P

One good thing about the fasting month is SHOPPING!! =D Even though how budget the things can be at the bazaar, it may somehow 'look' good, and I'll buy it... =D Haha..
Another good thing is that my favourite Dengdeng, is only sold during this period. So I can feast on this lovely pieces of meat slathered in oil and spices, which makes my mouth water. ^^ The only downside is that it costs $4 for 100g in the beginning of the month, but towards the end, prices will decrease till $2.50 for 100g.... =.="
In case you're wondering, Dengdeng is something like a Beef Jerky... =/ Maybe it is... I'm not sure...

And right after we had that "Final Sprint" speech crap in the hall a few weeks ago... =/

Part A Singles. We damn tyco can qualify... We were actually 9th for overall heats. But one of the schools was disqualified due to unforeseen circumstances, so we got 8th and qualified... =D Heh.
Part C Doubles is the only race I'm competing in. We underestimated the other competitors in our Heats. So, we thought we cocked up our Heats badly. But we were surprise to find our timing to be 11.40 mins! That's not even an 8th position in the overall heats! =0

But suay, Nawawi being Nawawi, he's camera not enough memory. So he deleted, like, ALL oF THE CANDID SHOTS I TOOK!! And what's up with that, I managed to capture people at their embarrassing moments, like scratching the ass, digging the nose, etc. and he deemed them unnecessary and deleted them to make room for his uber lame shots... =.="
