I'm He's surprised to see his surname changed...don't know how though...but it was weird! Anyways, the Sec 1 Registration on the 22nd was not bad...saw quite a lot of pai-kias and many high-sockers...but not to worry, as Mr Wong said, "I'll give them 5 months to lower their socks." ^o^
Many did not turned up though, dont know why...guess they're on holiday or something. And many were also late, until Chia joked about asking the PARENTS to come at 7 the next day... x.O And 2 parents, in fact, paid $1 for a folder, but didn't even collect it =.=" What a waste! The folder has ALL the important things required for Sec 1 Orientation - including the EDGE programme...but gd thing there's no "Are you pregnant?" question again...Haiz, live and learn I guess.
29th of Dec will be their Orientation. We, the Peer Leaders, will be assigned our classes...blah blah blah....Guess it is obvious that I need to go, hopefully i'll be a class IC ^^ I really wanna go to Sec 1 camp =D But they have swimming this year! At least I think so...gotta ask the CIs, the camp list listed swimming trunks, but where are they gonna swim? In the muddy Straits of Johor? Or are they gonna kayak in swimming trunks?! =.O That would be stupid... x.O

SMRT Duck Tours!And that was what really happened on the non-stop rain on 19th December =0 Go ahead, see the video! It's not mine though...=P... But I am stunned as well to see the flood in Singapore! It's one of the heaviest rain in Singapore's 75 years of history! Gd thing I was at RGS on that day =D
So let me tell you all what happened:-
During the non-stop rain, water was collected inside MacRitchie Reservoir until the water mark reaches the overflowing point. At the top of the dam, there is nothing to prevent the water from overflowing. Even though PUB had in the past done water flushing by opening the valve gate at the bottom of the Dam, this was much much worse. Water was over flowing at a great flow, until the grass patch that was directly in front of the reservoir, as well as the carpark, got flooded.
The canal from the spillway leads all the way to the junction of Thomson Road and Marymount Road, whereby it follows Thomson Road all the way until Police Academy grounds, after that, I don't know how it runs. How the water runs from the spillway to the junction of Thomson Road and Marymount Road? There is a box culvert under the road at Lornie Road, which became inundated, overflow the side of the box culvert and flooded the whole road. The construction site was unfortunately, right in the middle.
The construction site did not touch any of the existing road side drains or drainage facilities.
Take a look at why the florist at Olive road / Joan Road got flooded. That is because of all the water from the reservoir was flowing to their location, and unfortunately, their area was a low ground, and there was nothing PUB could do to stop the water from overflowing.
What do you term this? Act of God, as nobody can predict how much rain the clouds will pour when it rains.

Svc 45 operates from Ang Mo Kio Depot to Upp East Coast Ter where as Svc 185 operates from Soon Lee Bus Park to Buona Vista Ter =D

Sigh, I really hope nothing pops up on Tuesday...my 30e route wasn't done yet, and I have another non-PH weekday route in queue =( Monday is a public holiday (Yay!), Wed I have a meeting with Mr Khor, Thurs I have a PSL meeting, and Fri is the Sec 1 Orientation =( So I only have Tuesday for 2 routes! x.O Really hope nothing pops up, or I'll have to postpone the routes till March or June! ;_;
