I'm finally back from Sec 1 Camp!!! I'm so overjoyed right now! =D Missed 3 days of school because of the Sec 1s...haiz...I need to get to class =/ Haven't picked my seat yet and all...

Well, it wasn't at all a waste of a time =) I really enjoyed it...I feel like a CI even though I didn't go for CIC xP It was also nostalgic =/ Haha...

I was paired up with Vawian with an aw =3 He's okay sometimes =P But he took over a lot, so I'm fine =D Heehee

First Day

The first part of the day - in school - was really damn boring. First everyone rushed to put thier bags and catch up to assembly period, then everything was slack till 9... O.x

There was, like 41 ppl in 1C. So it ended up with Varian taking another bus cuz the bus was full. The route was thankfully expressed...not like during my Sec 1 camp wherethe bus passed through Siglap, Chai Chee, Tampines, TPE, SLE, Woodlands, Kranji, Neo Tiew and finally Lim Chu Kang. At least this time the bus went to Marine Parade, ECP, AYE, Clementi, PIE, Jurong West, Chua Chu Kang, Lim Chu Kang =D

Talk crap in the bus with the Sec 1s. But only the front few were really paying attention. Cuz the rest behind were either talking amongst themselves, or sleeping. Lol, even Mr Chung was listening to his mp3 =/

Me: I guarantee you all the camp will be exciting.
Some Sec 1 guy: I look at you I'm already excited.

When we reached there, they settled, and I started talking to the CIs, esp with that above quote x.O Weird thing to discover then was that 1A reached there faster than the CIs xD

Then they settled in their bunks, and many were asking when was lunch. I was, like wth, you guys just reached here...never eat breakfast issit? Aiyo...

Belaying school...where the CIs belay he school =/ One word for me: BORING! Then lunch, where it was even hectic in the canteen... *shifty eyes*

Then the cluster games...sigh not enough manpower so I had to join in the Human Chess. Damn smart, kena floured on my 1 and only red shirt for the WHOLE camp >.< But most of the time was slacking with the Trolley Pushing Team nearby...haiz...

Thomas even throw flour and water bomb at Kaiza and made a Kaiza bomb with flour and water, and stashed it under a pipe for campfire night...sad...he didn't use it at all.

Thomas: Kaiza, you look wet and we can see you.
Kaiza: Yea, you're the one who threw that waterbomb at me!
Thomas: Oh really?! So you were that thing I hit with the waterbomb?

Then the nature rumble. The Sec 1s really have to be alert for the Bee Alert =/ *cold joke* Lol, proning in the jungle would be a dream for Nawawi...too bad he picked kayaking =P

Wei Liang: There are many lost souls in the forest.
Varian: Seriously?!
Mr Amir: Look there, someone lost their sole.
Wei Liang: Told ya.

The highlight of the first day is the Nature Rumble! It's muddy, wet and FUN! Big mistake to wear socks and my DRY shoes! First part was okay la, only mud...soothing mud...To be honest the mud was really damn soothing when it touch my skin. It even protects me from those mosquitoes which inhabits the place. Mud = okay. And then there was the wading pool, otherwise known as the black water.

Bryan Lim: To you know why the water is black?
Varian: Why?
Bryan Lim: Cuz Kaiza did this *touches the water*

I was laughing my ass off for that one =P The water was really damn black. If you stand in the water for a long time, you will litarelly sink in it and will be hard to get out. Lol...a few Sec 1s really dived into the water and came out a black shirt =/ Even Varian was scared of the water o.O There was suppose to be an activity done in the Kaiza water, but it was like gloomy weather so that station was skipped.

Then the clear walter. *cold joke* Wased off my mud, and the blackness =( The water was at my waist level, and for some sec 1s, their chest level =P The next station was that they had to go under the water, passing the log. Saw a mudskipper ran away from the log when we came ^^ Lol...Even we red shirts did it :P Varian, and Nico hesitated...Varian was scared of the coldness and Nico was scared off us splashing water at him when he came out.

Then everyone had to prone in the water ^^ Lol, many scared sia...Dunno why, their shirt already dirty, and it's just water.

OMG, it started raining when we're heading back...more mud...but the rain washed it off >.< The rain damn sharp, so everyone bent down and looked at the ground. I tried looking forward and everything was damn foggy. Everyone chionged all the way out and all the way back to the campsite. Back at the campsite, everyone was drenched.

Then they washed up. Dinner then got some red shirt meeting. Mr Seow, as usual, was late =/ I wanted to tell my class about the cheer during campfire night, but the meeting killed that plan.

Had a shower afterwards, then lights out...when, as usual, the Sec 1s would keep on flashing their torches and inconsiderately talk very loudly to disturb the peace. Me, Fadhil, Syukri, Nico, Wilgene, Wilnard, Nawawi and more went bunk to bunk asking then to shut up and go to sleep. Had a hard time, esp when someone from Bunk 5 vomitted. Strange thing is, even he didn't admit vomitting on his sleeping bag. x.O

Had a cold night though. At 12 it was warm but at 2 it was freezing. As Alphonsus said, someone was telling a cold joke. >.< Woke up every now and then, esp since Fadhil and the rest agreed to sleep in shifts to take care of the vomitter. Lol, at 4, woke up to find out the rest all pang-sei me on the floor. So I just moved to an empty bench >.< Ended up finding out they were sleeping in the canteen, cuz they can't stand the ants which in habited the bunk and was bited out backs all night - even mine...

Second Day

Breakfast, then FT period...weird thing is that none of the CIs there, nor the Sec 1s, nor the teachers know wha tis Double Whacko O.x Lol, Mrs Lim rolled up the WHOLE straits times newspaper...so it was damn bloody thick xP Damn fun to whack with that, cuz usually the teacher is anti-hitting students, like Ms Tay =P So in order of games, we played Whacko, Double Whacko, Birthdate Game, Animal Farm, and the Stand-up-with-someone-on-your-backs game.

The last game was a filler. We waited in the MPH cuz we thought someone would call us for kayaking. But wasted half an hour waiting so we played the filler game. Ironicly, the Kayaking ppl were waiting for us too >.< So when we found out, we rushed there and had the kayaking breifng.

Whoopee! Kayaking! My kind of sport! ^^ But damn sad, go out, raft up, then time to go back... =( Why? Cuz we came half our late, breifing took a while, it took more time to send them out and it will also take time to bring them back in. >.<

Then while they showered, I was slacking =/ Heard Fadhil was pissed off the the Nature Rumble instructor for asking him to strip, so he hit him and ended up kena scolded by Mr Seow =/ Wow, seriously, I would be pissed off too if someone told me to strip >.< The EDGE 2007 webbie has the vid...

Lunch. Many Sec 1s remained at their bunks even though it's lunch time. Weird thing is that many ask, "When's lunch?" or "I'm hungry", but they still wanna slack in their bunks =/

Qamarul: The Sec 1s are super hygiene freaks. They hang everything from towels to socks to underwear. They also want lunch, but are too lazy to go get it.

Then the Rope Course. Sigh, my shoes were still wet since the rain yesterday, so I ended up borrowing Nawawi's shoes ^^ THANKS!!! Was at the GS station first =/ Was damn chaotic and most importantly SLOW!! OMG...they didn't know that the main thing was the rope course, not the general station station =/ Linus was right though, someone really treat his peers like slaves. But that wouldn't happened if everyone pitched in to help. And because everyone didn't pitch in to help, they were slow. And because tehy were slow, the group which did the Rope Course first finished and was waiting for them =/ Read Linus blog to find more rants on the GS station...

And during their last 40 min to do rope course, Varian and me help out with belaying. Yup, belaying, even though I din't go CIC, I STILL KNOW HOW TO BELAY!!! And there was also some guy who could even fit his harness o.O Which was weird, since even Fadhil fit his harness....

After they switched from CRC to abseil/zipline stations, I was still belaying cuz some ppl are not done yet =/

On the way to the abseil place, took a piece of chicken from lunch. Damn smart, got diarheoa the next day >.<

The problems with the abseil/zipline place is that people are really impatient...they all wanna do BOTH zipline and abseiling =/ Even if everyone does the zipline, there would be not enough time =/ Another problem is that they place their stuff there, then after the zipline, they would be OUT of the area and so they ended up forgetting about their stuff =.=

Then there's enough free period for the class to do the cheer. Thankfully. But the sad thing is, Mrs Lim made the cheer for them...which is like not fair considering it's THEIR cheer...Oh well... But their cheer wasn't that bad I guess.

Snuck over to 1G and their practice cheering session ^^ Damn funny

Pei Xiang: *reads* Turn around and shake butts.
Some S1 guy: Yup
Pei Xiang: You mean like this *stands up and demonstrates*
Danial: *pulls down Pei Xiang's pants and runs away*
Sec 1s: *laughing their ass off*

Dinner then campfire night ^^ Lol, got 2I meeting damn fun...but as usual, Kolm and Ken pang-sei us =/ So left me, Guang, Phonsus and Gav...got all sorts of cold jokes uttered ^^ Got thing the campfire never die out.

Ms Yong: My boy once told me, what's the strangest fruit in the world?
Sec 1s: *utters all sorts of fruits*
Ms Yong: No, no, no, no, no. The strangest fruit in the world is the orange.
Sec 1s: *silence*
Ms Yong: Strange isn't it?
Sec 1s: *more silence*

That proves that Sec 1s can't take cold jokes, as usually there would be a "walau" or some "wah, damn cold" or even some snickering here and there. xP

Then got the Mother Tongue Commentating thingy ^^ Damn funny sia...

The best part was the cheering! ^^ One banana, two banana, three banana, four.... THe Sec 1s were very ticklish with that cheer ^^ Lol... But unfortunately, that was the ONLY campfire cheer done =/ The rest were VS cheers, which was okay la...

Some Sec 1 guy: Don't you guys get tired cheering like that?
Me: Hell no! It's called school spirit.

Overall, the campfire was damn fun...but many sec 1s were just bored and wanna sleep =/ Which is true...immediately after lights out, there was silence O.o Tired much? I would say, hell yeah...even us...damn tired...But still got time for cold jokes =D

Last day

Wah, everyone damn excited can go home...but stunned to find out go 2.4 km run =/

I planned to run with the first batch (A,B,C,D,E)...damn sad...wanna run with them, but ended up shitting in the toilet cuz of the diarhoea >.< Went I came out they were already on their return trip, so I just walked out, stood there and encourage the front peeps and ran with the slower ppl to encourage them =D

Finish with the first batch, go toilet again >.< Haiz...

After the second batch has finish running, they did their journal entry, while we had to pick one with potential to be a leader and one who has potential to be a bully/troublemaker.

Wei Liang: I can't even rmb their names. It's like I ask them, the 5 min later, I forget already.
Bryan Lim: Nvm, just take a class list, tikam tikam pick two names.
Viarian: Then what if you nominate the bully as a leader and the monitor as a bully?

Halfway writing...toilet break! Damn sad sia! Three times go toilet >.<

Then it's finally time to leave the camp =D Yay! The OGLs get to leave first while the other CIs do area cleaning. This time or bus got one more seat for Varian. But sad thing, on the way back to school, he's sleeping on my shoulder. >.< Damn suay, still at Clementi, have to go toilet again >.< So no choice but to sleep to forget about the shit...Woke up again to find us at Benjamin Shears Bridge! Thanks God, alsmost back...

Reach sch....rushed to the toilet >.< Damn, missed the part where my class thank me for protecting me >.< Sigh...

Then Mr Seow gave us 5 min to go home, but me and Guang ended up waiting for Alph first to talk crap... =) When Alph finally came, we got the job to wait till every Sec 1 to leave sch first =D Damn suay...so we all reflected about the camp.

Sad sia, forgot most quotes and the cold jokes =/

While waiting we also did soft cheers...lol, Chris did the banana dance and thankfully he wasn't facing the parents ^^

When the Sec 1s left. We did the Zhi Yuan claps and the lame claps before we departed ^^ Lol, give me 1000 Zhi Yuan claps *clap*clap*clap*clap* I DON'T WANNA CLAP!

But before I went home...OMG! Saw Nicholas and his classmates at the bus stop! Danial and Linus missed him for a good 10 mins for parkway...damn sad!

Well, I'm glad now home...away from the Sec 1s...but it'll be more sad...their CCA trials in on Mon, and if I have to miss class again, I'LL GO MAD!!!

Well, I slept for a good 12 hours =D And blogged this for 3 hours >.< Haiz...
