What a day...full of unexpected twists and turns. A tiresome day it was. All in the name of God.

Religious class today: An outing at MacRitche.
Not bad I must say. Wasn't too keen on the whole thing at first. But after a while, I adapted to the environment.
Sad thing that it had to rain though. Everyone there was seriously DRENCHED in the rain. Our shoes were muddy with all the mudslides. Our muscles cramped up. But we still persevered and finally made it all the way through the rainforest.

Started at 9 at Venus Dr area there, which is next to Sin Ming/Bishan area. Walked a while. Then we had to turn back to the starting point because we made a wrong turn and hiked up a wrong hill. xD
Walked through the forest for a while when we reached the ranger station at 0945-ish. Then we resumed on our way to the Treetop Trail. Reached there at 1000. A real enlightening experience. The wind was very refreshing up on the bridge. Feels a lot like an air-conditioner. Even though the wind shook the bridge countless times, and many people, even the ustaz (teachers) were pale, we enjoyed ourselves on the bridge.
The bridge itself, quite sturdy. Yet it could have been longer for a more enlightening experience. Even though it was a one-way only bridge, many wanted to go again. xD Especially to enjoy the scenery and the height difference.
I'm sure Irsyad would be scared there. xD
After crossing the bridge, it began to pour. Really heavily. The raindrops itself was pretty sharp. And many were sharing their umbrella with one another. Others had to resort to banana leaves for shelter. xD

Back to the ranger station at 1115-ish. Waited for the rain to stop, which is like 1 to 2 mins after we got there. =/
Trekked through the rainforest of MacRitche for a while, then walked around the perimeter of MacRitche reservoir, which is estimatedly 450m more distance than trekking through the forest. We covered a distance of 5km altogether from the ranger station to get the the carpark at MacRitche Park, where the VS Inter-House Cross Country is held. By then it was 1315.
Bus-ed back home. Wiped out. Tired. At risk of falling ill, especially due to the rain.

On a side note, I received a bad new about my baby niece, Misha.
Being an ordinary child, she's very hyper; love to climb, love to jump; love to be very hyper-active.
But now, look at her now in a cast. =( Note her teary eyes. So cute yet so painful to bear...
The cute arm. OMG! Its swollen and the doctor just cast it, MAYBE because there's minor cracks. Hopefully there aren't any.
Poor baby.
She usually sucks her left thumb when she goes to sleep. Now she is forced to suck her right.
Poor baby. Lots of love from your uncle. ^^
