Chigau: To differ from, i.e that's not it.

Okaeri nasi.: Welcome home. This is the reply to "Tadaima."

Oyasumi nassi.: Good night. Said at night before going to bed. When parting at night outside the home "Sayonara" is more usual.
Ryoukai: Acknowleged, accepted, okay.
Sayonara.: Good bye. On more formal occasions one uses "Shitsurei shimasu."
-San: Honorific. Respectful, often used for people older than 'kun'. (Seishirou-san vs. Subaru-kun ^_^)
-Sama: Ultra-honorific. Oozes respect.

Shimatta.: Damn.
Sugoi: Amazing, wonderful.
Suki da.:"I care about you", "love you" or "you are what I like."
Sumimasen.: Sorry, excuse me.

Tadaima.: I'm back. (lit. "[I have returned] Just now.") Said by a person on returning home.

Uso.: "Impossible, I can't believe it, never, it can't be."
Yaro: Rascal, i.e Bakayaro.
Yamete.: Stop. (More deferential, kinda uke-ish.)
Yamero.: Stop. (More emphatic, less..er..civilized?)
Yo: Emphatic particle. Greeting also.
Yoshi. (Yosh): Good, alright.
