First it was that super difficult Arabic exam I had to sit for yesterday, and now this. Speaking of which, I think I lost 20 marks for the paper just like that because I didn't read up on one page of the textbook. -.-
Blah. Long grandmother story ahead. Don't say I didn't warn you....
>------- Loading Story... -------< Today is supposed to be the OBS Breifing at HQ NCC. So I SMS-ed Hasif and Wei Yi too meet at Simei MRT at 2pm. But Wei Yi said that he's not going, and that Jackson is replacing him. So I SMS-ed Jackson the details.
Woke up today at 12. Showered and got ready by 1. As I was about to leave my house, Joshua SMS-ed me, saying that Ma'am told him that the OBS Form is due today. And since I just received the forms last week, during PSLTC, I had no time to complete the forms as I had to go for Medical Checkup.
I SMS-ed Ma'am for help. And she said go for the Medical Checkup first, then proceed to HQ NCC. Once I reach the MRT Station, Hasif called me, saying that he is at Boot Camp and Ma'am said that he do not need to go as long as he calls HQ NCC, which he did, saying that I'll be there to fill in for him. Damn. One guy down.
But nevertheless, I dropped off at Bedok instead of Simei, and SMS-ed Jackson to meet at Bedok instead. Went straight to Polyclinics and whilst waiting for over 50 patients to register, I tried to call Jackson, asking him to go ahead without me as it was already 2.30 then and I knew I was gonna be late.
Hah. Called him to find out that the number I had was no longer in use. >.< Seeked Farhan and Joshua's help for his number. And once I received his number, I called him, and asked him to go for the briefing. He replied that usual blur mosquito buzzes. -.- Anyways, he said okay.
Whilst waiting, I filled up the form, to an extend where I had to forge my dad's signature, SMS-ed him asking his NRIC no, and SMS-ed Weng Keong for the school's address. xD Thanks btw.
By 3, I entered the Consultation Room and asked for a Medical Check-up. And that banana fag of a doctor told me that Polyclinic doesn't do Medical Check-ups for OBS. >.< I maintained a moment of calmness, and left. She cancelled my consultation charges at that moment in time.
Then Jackson called me saying that he got something on and cancelled on me. x( KNN... Leave me alone to go there by myself. Hah. I told Ma'am about it and she said that Jackson is not going... xD
Went straight to a Private Doctor. But the bloody bus
crawls to Bedok Reservoir. And even though Bedok Reservoir is close to Bedok Int, it took 20 minutes to get there! x(
Anyways, went to Dr. Balqis, which is this doctor I always went to before I found out about Polyclinics. Entered the place, and told the person at the counter I used to go there a long, long time ago. Haha. My Medical Records are still there and it dates back to before I was 6, when I was still living at Lucky Heights. xD Haha.
Waited a few minutes, then entered the doctor's room. Then the doctor told me that she knew my grandmother. -.- And then she asked me her name. Took me a while to answer cuz I don't call my grandmother on a first name basis. Anyways, then she started crapping about how she knew my family, my 3 sisters, my mom, my dad, and my grandma. -.- Finally, she started the check-up. After 10 minutes to check-up, I left the place leaving $20 behind at the counter. By then it was already 4.
Then I realised that I need a passport photo of myself on the form. And luckily, there was a photo shop (no pun there) nearby. Gah. The place wrinks of a dog model though. x( Anyways, spent 15 minutes there to get my passport photos, which is not bad really, even with my school uniform and long hair. xD Haha. And price-wise, not bad either. $9 for 8 photos. And when compared to the charge applied at ICA Building at Lavender, which is $5 for 4 photos, that place turns out to be cheaper.
Anyways, left the place and immediately flagged a cab. But then something from heaven descended onto my right shoe: Banana bird shit on me as I was about to enter the cab. Hah. After telling the cab driver to send me to HQ NCC, I requested a piece of tissue, which he kindly gave to me. =D Thanks!
Took a while to get there. Reached there at 4.30-ish. Another $10 wasted. >.< Hrmph. Went straight to the NCC Theaterette just to find those big ranked fellas sitted there like big bosses: The briefing ended already. -.- Sian. Called Ma'am with my CAMERA PHONE there and she told me just to submit my forms to the Sea Office. Went there, then Mdm Esther (I think?) said that someone from VS (Hasif) called them saying that I'll be there for the briefing, and that it was such a disappointment that I missed it for him.

Left the place with a big smile on my face because I finally let something out of my hair, even though I made a
few, minor mistakes here and there. xD
Walked out to the Bus Depot there and took 70, in hopes of getting to Keypoint Building to buy a new mouse for my comp. I actually planned to do these things tmr. But since I was already out, might as well do them now. Halfway there, my dad called me, asking if I had exchanged the $500 he gave to me this morning to Japanese Yen. I said not yet. Soon, he called me again, saying that he's at Sultan Mosque and that the Money Changer nearby has an exchange rate of 1330. I said that I was on my way to Sultan Mosque area. And he replied, saying that he'll be waiting for me there, when I'm 30 minutes away from the place. -.-
Anyways, once 70 reach there, went straight to Keypoint Building and entered this shop called 'The House Of Mouse'. xD Haha. Freaky name. Bought the mouse and left for Sultan Mosque. Met my dad there and he said that the exchange rate dropped to 1325, which is a bad thing because I'll receive less Yen for the fixed amount of Singapore Dollars.
I requested to exchange money at Parkway and he sent me there with his car. But the stupid money changer at Parkway said that the exchange rate is 1320, which is even
worse... >.< Decided to exchange tmr instead. Went to Scoopz though. =D Yay for Cookies N Cream!!
Went home afterwards. Dad gave me another $50 because I busted $50 just for OBS. -.-

I thought Boot Camp was over. Guess I was wrong. They have to sit for some tests and the final Boot Camp debrief. -.- The more I think Boot Camp is eff-ed up. Seriously.
And I'm wondering why are YOU so interested in OBS anyways. Seriously, why are you so up for it. And if you're hyped up about it, why didn't you go today?! Stupid Boot Camp. It's not like you can't skip Boot Camp. And it's not like there's some big exam that is going on today... *twitches* ... *rollseyes*
Actually, after blogging abourrit, I wonder why am I doing all this anyways. I mean, I hate my CCA. I hate NCC. But why do I even bother doing all what I did just to
please some people. =.= I'm not that up for OBS either, even though the RGS peeps said that it rocked out loud.
And why am I going either?
