OMG!! Trip to New Town was MEGA PHAILL!!

[ Now Listening To: Owl City - Vanilla Twilight ]

The day started out quite bad actually. I finished my art assignment at like 12am and couldn't sleep (idk why) till like 2.30. Obviously I overslept and freaking hell woke up at 6.30! Rushed to shower and then caught the 6.45 train. Reached B.Vista at 7.15 and rushed to school. Damn.... what a way to start the first day of school.

Chapel, did like one question of the chem holiday homework... xD Then there was that principal address thing which no one listened to cause it's just repetition from CCAAB. Haha. I was singing in my head the entire time...

Anyways, contact time was wtf... we got a new form tutor who is also a pregnant lady. Deja vu much. I really hope she's not like Elaine Kao-Peh Yong. Then again... most bottom teachers are... =/ Seriously the higher-ups look fierce but they are actually more fun and lenient when it comes to discipline and stuff.... Gah! Here comes the PMS...

My timetable was also wtf... I thought J2 would end earlier. It's the same shit as last year. In fact, I preferred my last yr's timetable better... =( Tuesday's Art + Bio + Chem + Math lecture combo is NOT a good thing... And Chem Lab during Friday prayers?! WTF!!! So I cant freaking pon class at all la! Damn it... Stupid timetable...

[ Now Listening To: Metro Station - Seventeen Forever ]

That aside... common break, wow, said hi to a lot of people! HEY!! I like this. Lol. And the void deck doesn't look primary sch-ish people, i love it. It's just a pity that the lockers are now outside LT5 instead... =/

The discipline talk... yawnz... heard about the jacket thing months ago, but it's weird they don't allow black based cca jackets yet they allow plain black jackets... hmmm.... =/

[ Now Listening To: David Cook - Light On ]

GP. OMFG. I CANT STAND THE NEW TEACHER!!! It's like huixian with a freaking bad fake angmoh accent. I dont think I can survive listening to her for 5 periods... thank God for the blue slip. Id don'td knowd whyd shed hasd tod endd everyd wordd ofd herd sentenced withd ad '...d'd, liked classd. OMFGd.

Left GP after one period to slack in the void deck with the sconers. WTF, Kevin now has weird fetishes for fur... First shit, now fur, I wonder what next... Hahaha. Oh and the free ice-cream rocks. Seriously. But I cant help wondering if it was last year's batch... if that's the case then there's a possibility that 300 students out of the cohort will be at home with diarrhoea or something... Haha...

[ Now Listening To: Taylor Swift - Fifteen ]

Left for NewTown at like 1+ to literally stone there for another 2 to 3 hours. Wow. Even the HOD whom we were supposed to report to didn't expect we were coming. Lol. Only the principal knew and they basically sent us to the canteen at the back of the school when the hall is nearer to the gate. They claim that students will go to the canteen after receiving their results when they actually just go out of the gate after that. Two words: MEGA PHAIL. Gave out like only 5 calendars out of 45 i think. Lol. We had to resort to eavesdropping to know who are the smart ones and who are not. Apparently there was one girl who got liek 7 points or something... Haha. But I agree with Samuel Ang, "We hope not to see you in AC". LOL!!!

[ Now Listening To: La Roux - Bulletproof ]

Oh, only one guy approached us to ask questions and the only questions he asked was, "are u from ac?" and "j1 or j2?" Apparently he's an ACJC alumni from NewTown and he said that only a handful of them go to AC every year and most, if not all are through DSA or appeals. His batch got only 7 (he had to appeal to get in) and our batch got 2, both DSA students. Wow... It makes you wonder why Mrs Chiang puts the school as one of those with 'more and more students coming into AC'... like WTF right?

Left for Mac at 3.50 and reached there at 4.30 to meet Hong Hwee alone. Lol. Some stuff happened after that which I don't wish to say.

Training Log
Program: 6k technical rowing with resistance
Boat: Billy C2
Capsizes: Zero

Wow. The resistance is really *insert appropriate word here*... At first I thought the water spouting thing was quite cool. It was even cooler due to the fact that it showed our massive power applied to row. But after a few kilometers, it became a real chore. Oh wells, I guess that's why they call it resistance.

[ Now Listening To: No Doubt - I'm Just A Girl ]

The training felt kinda rushed though. We launched at 5.10 for 6k, so we were like fighting against time. Because of that we tend to panic and like increase our rotation. So we had to be reminded time and time again to slow down and stretch. Guess that wasn't really made clear at the start. I thought the aim was to finish in time but apparently the goal was to provide an opportunity for maximum catch. I tried, but 50% of my stretches got fend off my Jarrod's ass, and 70% of the time I was still rowing with my body out of the boat. Gah! I really need to work on that...

But overall it was okay I guess. The last kilometer I died somehow and the direction went super haywire. Sorry Jarrod. But it felt good knowing that you can actually stretch that far in the boat. The sprint after that felt seriously refreshing when we took off the resistance, especially when it comes to direction control. Rubber-less is the way to go seriously.

[ Now Listening To: Kelly Clarkson - My Life Would Suck Without You ]

The debrief went well I suppose. I liked the tone and the appropriateness of it. Jarrod, I bet you planned this during our row today, right? Haha. It doesn't matter really. The message was clear even though the arrowing was damn obvious (if it's not the C2, what else could it be?). Haha... This includes the push-ups. Wow, we've been TKY-less for a LONG time... Thumbs up, Jarrod. :]

Went home after that. OMFG. I forgot how annoying 93's frequency was. Waited at the bus stop for like 20 freaking minutes before the bus came. The Farrer Road jam is seriously effed up because of CCL construction. Grrr... At least Sancia was with me so I had someone to talk to lah (sorry wy)... HAHAHA!

[ Now Listening To: Tokio Hotel - Automatic ]

Wow, what a long post for the first day of school... I'm dreading the other days of school though... T.T
